NO SURGERY YET !!

Hi all, good news , surgeon going to give me regular checks on my heart valve until near future when he puts in another heart valve !!! Phew I am so pleased about this.

I asked him about my GCA and heart valve and yes, it can contribute to this !

Also urologist is going to insert a small stent into both my kidneys as this was the main cause of my collapse.

I had a guardian Angel over me as lucky to still be here, I now class this as the second time God did not want me yet.

Main diagnosis was, " KLEIBSELLA PNEUMONIAE SEPTICEMIA "

Second was my BILATERAL HYDRONEPHROSIS, why can't they use simple words.

Third " AORTIC STENOSIS "

So God and my Angels sure are helping me !

Was in for 11 days and can't remember the first 2 days at all !

Still feeling very weak but have learnt to relax a bit better, but only because I am scared of being rushed in again.

Dropped 5mg preds the day after coming out as advised and so far so good but still on 15mg so slow taper once again.

I would like to thank everybody for your well wishes which have added to my slow recovery xxx

Ps, blood inflammation was 250 just above and came out with bloods 8 !!!!

Thank you, not sure if because of dropped 5mg or because of what I went through, but I have no strength in me and I am getting hot most of the time, just no energy . I walk slow round the field with my dogs like a 90 yr old woman !!!

Another strange thing which is happening - the left side of my head keeps itching mostly at night, feel like I have fleas !!! 😱

It is this side my GCA affects most also

Perhaps I am falling apart 🤦‍♀️

Wow Margaret, you really HAVE been through it!

Well done for coming through - as you say, they don't want you 'Up There' yet!

Thank you PMRpro, on long term antibiotics from hospital now , just hope my blood stays below 10 then I will be happy as then perhaps my immune system will kick in !!!

Thank you very much, suffering with after effects still but at least I am still here ! Just been told by one of my nurses who lives by me that they have shut a few of the wards now that I

was in, they have Nova Virus !!!!! Thank goodness I was out !!!'
