Posting links question..

Hi, Being new to the forum (but not new to PMR/Pred :( ) I was wondering what the rules are about links to sources of information that may be of interest or help to others, as I have read an interesting paper studying the effect of the fermented milk drink Kefir and it's benefit against bone resorption and bone loss? I understand completely if sharing links is frowned on/not allowed, or if there is a 'panel' that vets info., being shared from the net. Thanks :)

Hi Cliff,

Usually links are welcome, especially if they inform other patients. Occasionally they are not appropriate- if thought to be purely a sales pitch for example. If that's the case an administrator will ask you to delete the contents. However that is very rare.

If I see anything that I consider dodgy I comment and report it. But I post links that I consider useful all the time.
