Logging in to PMRGCAuk with Facebook

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone else has had trouble logging in, but each time I use my details to login it tells me they are not available?

My solution is to use Facebook. Love it or hate it, it works quickly each time.

Yes it does work okay, but you shouldn't have to!

HU have obviously done something to their system, you should automatically go direct to Post from email notification.

I joined on 12th April 2017, perhaps the problem arose then. Or maybe my stupid gene messed everything up. Who knows. ..

Lots of people have been having problems for a while. It's all very well - but by no means everyone has a FB page. And they shouldn't need to.

I agree. it's just I have one for study purposes and used it as a last resort, otherwise I would have to pick a new name each time. I know lots of people will not have FB page, and some people may object to getting one. Just offering a simple alternative

I agree shouldn't have to. But each time is the same saying loks like your username/ password don't match. Yet I have it written down to avoid mistakes. ..just in case the stupid gene kicks in.

The current bout of problems seem to have been around for about a month, so looks as if you fell into the timescale, unfortunately for you.

As I said before, think the site providers have changed things, which has caused lots of different problems, not just the logging on procedure.

Don't know what they've done, but wish they'd sort it out! So no, it's not you!

Thanks DorsetLady. At least I know it's not me being an idiot and there is something amiss.

It is a bit frustrating, perhaps the popularity of the site is causing it to not fully accept new members? Not a 'puter expert by any means, just a thought.

I have to log in using Facebook as well, has been going on for many weeks now and have no idea why it should request this.

I don't know why it's happening but right from the start I have had problems logging in also just happened to try Facebook and it's straight in no messing. Though I've only been a member since 12/04/17. Could just be affecting newbies.

Oh I see, Peetee70 looks like this may be more than just a glitch. Problem is I have no idea how to contact the administrator. I'm quite happy to do this if someone could give me the means to do it. Mainly to ask why this is happening and what can be done about it.

I do wish they'd get this site fixed. I'm replying to you without being able to see the other 14 replies it tells me you've received. I haven't had to log in today for the first time in quite a while but the invisible replies are really annoying.

Yes that is frustrating, trying to find a way to get in contact with the administrator to find out what is going on

You can report any post including your own - they may (or may not) take any notice.

Click on the right hand box with the downward facing arrow. For you own post it offers Edit, Delete, Report, for someone else's it offers Report.

I do know polkadotcom, who is an administrator for this forum as well as a member, has repeatedly told the powers that be about the mess. They must be like the mills of god ...
