Losec 20mg tablet cut in half with water for my 2 year old ok

Hi guys new to this forum thingo. I was doing some research on losec tablet which mu daughter was put on from a what I think more a chesty cold cough. Can any one give some advice on these pills. My daughter had this cough for few weeks comes and goes lately bad waking up choking on flem etc and was told this could be from acid reflux ? Thanks all in advance just wanting to make sure I got right stuff for my daughter

This is something to ask a pharmacist - not a forum. Especially this one - people here just use losec.
