Sorry - I don't quite understand what you are asking?
Hi , I'm just wondering if the pain in my wrist really really painful ,would it cause to travel up my arms,&"thoughed/hoped it was not angina ,I have so many health issues ,I'm just getting over the flu + infection ,but thank you,for been interested.

Peggy, whereas it may be quite possible for the pain from an arthritic wrist to cause discomfort in your arm, as you suffer from angina this is really something that you should get investigated by your GP just to rule out angina being the cause. Having flu itself may also have aggravated existing problems, so do seek reassurance from your doctor that all is well. Get well soon.
Hi Celtic......
I know you are right but it's just reassurance I was looking for,I've had heat problems for over 30'years & ckd stage 4 it all so getting me down things are bad enough,I'm seeing the cardiologist wed.so hopefully I will know

Peggy, I do sympathise - it does seem so unfair to be struck with so many health problems. I particularly empathise with the CKD, having Stage 3b myself. I'm sorry we couldn't give you the reassurance you seek but I do hope you will have some positive news when you see the cardiologist on Wednesday. Good luck.
Love the little ghost emoticoms! Hubby bought some treats - just hoping there aren't too many more knocks at the door so that there are some left for me!
We got in choccy in case our tiniest vampire came to visit again this year - she must have grown up too much because she must be in bed by now!!!
As Celtic says - really something to ask the doctor. I think cardiac pain would be more likely to start at the top of your arms and radiate down rather than be in the wrist - not the classical left sided pain in women though. I assume you have medication for your angina attacks? If that doesn't work or you feel really unwell - dial 999. That's what they are for - not baby-sitting drunks.
HoPMRpro & Celtic you so kind to reply so fast & yes it's reassuring that about the pain going up instead of down my arm, makes sense now when I think,of it . Once again thank you both keep well God bless xx😘😘

My first major symptom that this was not arthritis started in my hands with swelling and started up my wrists and arms making me feel like my arms could break like glass and major weakness . Everyone has a different experience of course.
But what was the outcome & treatment Thank you 😊
Peggy 💕
I experienced this some months ago, with both arms feeling incredibly weak and useless. Like you I have heart problems so was concerned but this has passed off now - fingers crossed - though I have few other symptoms to replace it but I think most are associated with OA: e.g. very painful thumbs and wrists. But I have now registered with a new GP who still has face to face surgery as opposed to the telephone only system of my previous one so now have a little more confidence that I can get an appointment if something worrying is occurring and I need support. Hope your problems are soon resolved
Hi Maria ...... thank you for sharing your health with me ,I'm seeing ,the cardiologist today having enlarged heart & block , ,praying it will be a successful outcome,& nephrologist is worried about the the amount of antibiotics I'm resistant to. Because of ckd stage 4? Also, they are sending to pain management , not sure it's all worth it ? Has anyone else been in pain management, would appreciate any advice ,as the amount of medication I'm on worries me deeply , will wait for reply ,once again thank you keep as well as you are ❤️Kindest regards Peggy x
I had a lot of treatment 4 years ago from the local pain clinic here in Italy for myofascial pain syndrome - which removed a lot of the problems that could have been masquerading as PMR! After that I was able to get to a far lower dose of oral pred than before. They do seem to go about things a bit differently from UK pain management clinics - but everything is worth trying if it makes you feel better.
