How lovely. The Algarve is very pretty and you should get a bit of sun. Something to look forward to. Angela.

Hi,

That should be plenty just in case of emergency, or if you need to increase dosage - hopefully not. Remember to take in original boxes and also take a copy of your repeat prescription, some countries are a bit more vigilant on prescribed drugs than others so it's best to be well prepared. Have a lovely time. DorsetLady

If you take a prescription with you - make sure it is legible!!!!!! I take far more than double what I might need for a week. And pack some in your handbag, some in your cabin luggage, some in your hold luggage. Ditto any travel companion if possible - enough to keep you going for a few days, you never know which bit of baggage will fail to arrive! And do make sure you have told the insurance EVERYTHING.

I know - misery guts but...

Have a lovely time!

Have fun, it is lovely there. When travel I always take a copy of the most recent prescription sheet - the printed part outlining all my meds. I always carry my medication with me in my hand bag and carry on luggage and I never ever pack it in the hold. I always take extra of everything... you never know what might happen and if you dropped your pills you certainly would not want to swallow anything that had been in contact with a hotel carpet ;)

With short travel time and minimal time difference you should have no problems and hopefully some better weather will do you good. Enjoy!

We've been with Lowcost holidays before and found them really good.

I was in the Algarve last year at this time - and for a number of years before that. The positive effect of more daylight, being able to go for walks with the jacket in the backpack is absolute magic! But never move without your daily dose at least about your person!

Enjoy!
