Biopsy

As someone with GCA I really sympathise and know what you are going through.

I would ask questions on Monday though about the delay between starting pred - large doses I imagine - and the biopsy. I am not a doctor but I suspect the drugs you have already taken could affect the accuracy of the biopsy. I know my rheumy insists on doing them fast.
