It says in the leaflet that it can increase the effects of methylprednisolone? Is that the same Pred I am on for my PMR?

If you are in the UK probably not. In the UK they usually use prednisolone. In the USA they use either prednisone or methylprednisolone - which is prednisolone with a bit added on and often called Medrol. It will say on your pack which yours is. It doesn't really matter - it'll just make it work better and you will probably be able to reduce more easily when it comes to it. You doctor should have thought about it anyway but it isn't a severe problem.
