MY LIFE IN PKD📸
I live my life in pain so much its become normal, however it can be come much. It get to the point where if I'm crying of feeling like I want to rip my own kidneys out I really need help, so i was having one of those, let me back if up a bit, about two weeks ago someone had called me from Radiology to schedule the procedure but I couldn't since I had no one to take me. Back to the story, the lady on the other end of the phone ask me for the usual name, D. O. B, phone number etc then went on to say the dates that were available, I said yes to the first date Thursday May 2nd @2:00pm.
This would be the second time having this procedure as I've had it done on my left kidney in 2017, and the same Dr was doing it as well big thanks to Dr Holly & his team, the nurse who help with my prep, Ahmed who fitted my IV line. The procedure took about 2 1/2 hrs once i was awaken and taken to recovery i was given instructions about my at home care, check for very high fever, excessive vomiting don't shower the day after to avoiding wetting the area. I was then headed to get a LARGE meal i was hungry!
I am now one week in and the incisions look like scratches, the swelling is gone i don't need a band aid and the pain in the area is nothing to complain about...
Preparation: Eat nothing after twelve midnight and nothing the next day. Take meds with water, I could have some orange juice. I had nothing...
I was trying to share pics but couldn't, IR isn't just for kidneys so i am sharing this link. Feel free to ask me anything.
