What best diet for ADPKD

Hi I'm MAPHOBE 28 yrs old ,I diagnose ADPKD last april 2018.

I feel a mild back pain .my doctor says that my cysts is unique because it can be burst.and I feel dissapointed because this kind of disease is not curable. Please I need an advice .

Hi Maphobe,

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but don’t worry too much, PKD is normally not a fast progressing disease, and you might be able to live a very normal life for a long time.

Speak to your doctor about what you can do to take care of your kidneys (drink water, avoid salt etc) and have regular check-ups.
