Never been to one but have been to see a Pudendal Nerve Neurologist and he helped me a lot. I may be facing surgery but my life is livable now. There are only a few in the U.S. and I had to go to Minneapolis from New Mexico to see Dr. Antolak but it was worth it.

Hi I'm going to look into it, thank you. The only problem is I'm in England, but there may be one? X

Hi, I am in the midlands and have been referred to a pain consultant. I have endo and also chronic pelvic pain and neuropathic pain that goes down my thigh. It has taken years to get to this point of hopefully knowing what it causing all of my pain. It is possible to several causes for different elements of pain all going on at the same time. He prescribed pregablin which gave me migraines so I had to stop. I am taking tramadol but having problems with that so am going to try amatriptaline next. I am also booked in for a nerve block which I am undecided on at the moment. I will post how I get on but he said I was only the third person he had treated for this kind of thing. He was lovely, really listened and understood which was great after having blank looks from specialists for so long. I too will be on the look out for a specialist in chronic pelvic pain so please post if you find one and I will too, hope you aren't in too much pain today xx

Hi

I've been to pain specialist in East Anglia who was really helpful. I have vulvodynia & pain in backside and down legs. Unlike drs /gynae he really listened & explained about causes of pain, took trouble to answer my questions and has put me on treatment plan which so far has involved taking notriptyline for pain (was on amitriptyline but side effects too much), CBT therapy for anxiety which has really helped and later on is going to involve physical therapy too. I'm going back for another appointment hopefully this month I found him by looking up pelvic pain specailists on the internet in my area... If you can find one fairly near to you definitely worth going xx
