I'm very confused and not sure what to do next and NHS is taking too long! My next appointment with my dermatologist isn't till Novemeber, shes's going to research PN before she sees me next. Should I just book an appointment to see Dr Greenslade privately or find a manual physiotherapist . Can anyone suggest a manual physiotherapist in the Hampshire/Surrey area? As some of my problems ( rectal numbness and greatly increased labial pain) started immediately after a transvaginal scan I assume it's a muscular issue as well as nerve damage.

Dr Gareth Greenslade is a consultant in pain medicine and part of 'The Bristol Team' whose interest in pudendal neuralgia took them to Nantes, France in 2009 to study with Professor Roger Robert.
He administers guided nerve blocks to PN patients and can refer for decompression surgery if required. His team offers a multidisciplinary approach to pelvic pain which includes cognitive behavioural therapy, pain management techniques, and medication. Sacral nerve stimulation and spinal cord stimulation is also available for suitable patients.

Dr. Greenslade is the Specialty Director for Pain Services, North Bristol NHS Trust.
I haven't any personal knowledge about physio in your area. I am sure that I have seen a few physios in Surrey who had plelvic pain in their info. I will try to find it . Then you could ring round ad see who might be best.
If you find some one please let me know as my son lives in Godalming and I might try them when visiting.
Thanks for that. I have found details for some manual physiotherapists in Surrey already I was just hoping that someone had used one of them before. Still if I use one of them myself I will certainly let you know if they are helpful. I think I will book a private appointment with Dr Greenslade, I had assumed he was going to be more expensive than that so at least that's good news.
