Really interested to know what physical movement has been of benefit to the symptoms of pudendal neuralgia. Haven’t found anything that gives definitive help as yet. Thank you for your suggestions!

This is kind of a loaded question because it depends why you have the pudendal neuralgia if it's because of tight muscles that's one kind of exercise if it's entrapped nerves that's a different kind of exercise so I will just tell you what kind of exercises I did because I had pelvic floor dysfunction with dental nerve involvement since January of this year and it's taken about 10 months of pelvic floor pt,muscle relaxers, home stretches and diaphramic breathing to get it about 80% better...I had overnight short muscles after guarding or I should say holding them to tight with stress...I think I took years to get like that so it's going to take one or two years to meet train the muscles to be in a relaxed pattern instead of a tense pattern....oh so it might be helpful to read a headache in the pelvis . So just Google pudental neuralgia and pelvic floor dysfunction exercises.... They should pop up....I hope this was somewhat helpful and oh by the way some people have botox in the pelvic floor to relax the muscles if the other stuff doesn't work and it can be done while you're going to pelvic floor physical therapy also and some people are on either cymbalta ,amitriptyline ,gabapentin ,cyclobenzaprine among other Mets to interrupt the pain signals to the brain which are much better than actual pain killers

The book Pelvic Pain explained by Stephanie Prendergast helped me more than anything else. There’s an exercise mentioned in there that has helped me quite a bit.

Hi reader I only do exercises around the aria so i don t trigger the pain. I use all my other muscles to be strong enough to stand long ( because i cant sit properly ) Because i do exercises i can relax my muscles better and i get out of the cramp. I train my back my legs and my arms with soft exercises like handbiking , throwing a bal , cross train. I tryed to do Squats but that triggers the pain.

No squats and no heavy lifting. You don’t want to do exercises that strain or push the groin muscles. Do NOT get constipated and strain those muscles/that area. It will aggravate the PN.
