I've never heard of them what are they for?

They are for a protruding prolapse - nurse told me about them as surgery is " not appropriate"for me. I am 73 and have no pain or incontinence - had hysterectomy 20 yrs ago but the prolapse worries me. Fembrace are for sale on-line but just look like pants that will pull up tight.
