Mild Pid? Long term?

is It possible to have mild pid for a year or even 2 years? I get a lot of nausea, low back pain, cramping, heavy bleeding, among other symptoms, but it seems to go through cycles of getting better and getting worse. I’ll have a week or two where it gets pretty bad but then it eventually gets better (not gone, but better). Would it have gotten much worse by now if I’ve had it for a year? I also had 2 months of high fevers (104-106) but they went away. It seems I have all of the symptoms of pid but I’m not experiencing constant debilitating pain like others describe. Side note: I was just tested positive for Chlamydia. Both my bf and I have not been with anyone new and we are sure that it came from his ex that he was sleeping with before we started dating. We’ve been together almost 2 years now which means I would have had this for almost 2 years. I’m so scared with how long this has been that I will have trouble conceiving.
