Dr. Dellon: Hi, im looking for the... - Pelvic Pain Suppo...
Dr. Dellon
You could put Dr. Dellon or appropriate word in the search box and find the person you spoke to this way. Then you will be able to send a private message to her
I believe her name was Susan -1
Was it for posterior femoral cutaneous nerve or pudendal neuralgia? or ?
please tell me how you are doing. I have Butt pain presumably posterior femoral neuroma. I need a posterior femoral cutaneous nerve block but I am having difficulty finding a D. that knows how to do this type of block.
i had pudendal neuralgia. i don't know if dr. dellon deals with that. i am doing pretty well. still have some pain, some days are better than others. i don' think it is possible to get complete pain relief, i would say i am 70% better. i can live with that. good luck to you. dr. delllon will email with you and answer questions concerning your condition and tell you if he thinks he can help you. go to his website dellon institute and fill out his questionairre.
best of luck
pieper
Dr. Dellon can block the posterior femoral cutaneous nerve. He told me in an email.
How are you doing? what's going on? i am not doing welll. not sure what's going on. right labia and rectum aching again. my nerves have been really bad. am seeing an accupuncturist to try and calm them. found another person that had sugery with Dr. Dellon a month before me that is also not doing well and is considering suing him. He has no answers for me, just tells me that i can come out and see him again if i want to. i don't think so. i think you were right to be sceptical of surgery,, i think i may have pulled the nerve out of the muscle when i was excercising and now it is active again. a guess. anyway, how are you?
Pieper, have you gotten any better after the surgery with Dr. Dellon? I am still searching for answers as I have been on this long and painful journey for over 3 years now
i was still having pain so i went out to Baltimore to see him again and he examined me and told me that i didn't need any additional surgery. we talked and I came to a big realization. My pain is derived from stress. He told me to work on changing my lifestyle , He was right . Since i have been home i started walking 4 miles a day and my pain has been considerable less. when i do feel it start coming on i take a valium and it stops it. I have read allot and listented to allot of podcasts and it is true that if you excersice your pelvic pain does lessen. Hope that helps you.
His surgery did help my initial pain. the rest is up to me.
Thank you, Pieper--I really appreciate your response! I have also been told that stress fuels the pain! I will work on walking and I am trying to find some medications that don't have so many side effects! Good luck to you!!
That's interesting. I emailed Dr Dellon and had a brief but useful exchange with him, he was out of my price range unfortunately otherwise I'd be on the first plane from the UK to Baltimore
I've emailed 3 European specialists over the last few weeks and I haven't had so much as the courtesy of an acknowledgement out of them.
There is a user called ezer on Tmswiki forum who had a failed surgery however he
got better using mind body therapy. Yoi can google him
I live in Australia my friend had pudendal surgery with Dr Dellon 8 weeks ago and is doing great. I see him in Jan for Pudendal pain also.
