Insatiable Itching Update for me

Hey PBCers! I wanted to let you know that my insatiable itching that lasted over years and my body has the scars to prove it has finally diminished!!!!! Hallelujah- my liver doctor tried lots of medications and I tried lots of home remedies as well and nothing helped I couldn’t sleep either because of the itching and the anxiety that came along with the itching! A couple months ago my liver doctor put me on Rifampin 150 mg and Zofran 8mg - I take the Rifampin and the Zofran together twice a day I also take a third Zofran in between to total three Zofran a day.

It took months to help but now I just thank our almighty Lord everyday for not itching like I was!! It has been life changing because not sleeping and itching all day everywhere was no quality of life!! Hang in there if you have severe itching and keep trying things until you find what makes the life changing difference for you! God bless you all. Take care and stay safe.
