rash with meds

I am taking Ursodiol for my PBC and now I have a rash on my face. It comes and goes, but never completely goes away. Anyone else have this problem? Any tips or hints. I don't eat red meat, nothing with white flour, no white potato's, just lots of salads, fruit, fish and seafood.

I read that a rash is a possible side effect of urso. You might want to run it by your doctor.

I have taken ursodiol for about 20 plus years. I have never had any type of rash.

Do you eat any shell fish or raw fish. I was told by my doctor not to eat these.

Any rash should be reported to your doctor. While rare, side effects/reactions from any medication can happen. If you've recently changed any routine (soap, medication, even a brand of medication due to different fillers), this could be a source of your rash. Of course, it may also be totally unrelated to your PBC so it's best to let your doctor know to find the cause and adjust as needed.
