A different mindset...

I've been reading portions of Dr. Jone's book. One very good point that he makes is that if you have been diagnosed with PBC it can lend some credibility to many of the 'why am I having these' symptoms that you many have been experiencing with no explanation. It can at least give you a sense of "I'm not nuts" validation.'

Although no one wants PBC, if it is detected early and treated appropriately the likelihood of doing well is higher. Those who are treated early in the disease just do better the majority of the time.

We only have so much control over this disease. What we do have control over is our attitude and how we choose to live our lives having PBC. Control what you can control...you can't control your numbers. We can choose a healthier life by eating better and exercising how best we can. The bottom line is that we each have a responsibility to ourselves as well as our families to live our lives! Are you living your best life?! just food for thought.... you are not PBC. Don't let it consume who you are.
