I have a pretty ironclad and, some might think lazy, morning routine. I get up, take a hot bath, and then walk with my dog to my favorite outdoor cafe for a coffee (and they make her tiny mini pancakes). Then we walk about 3/4 to 1 mile and I go home, feed the pets, and ease into my day. This means I WILL NOT schedule anything work related before 10:00 a.m. Now that I'm starting a new kind of business that may have to change when I'm on the road at client sites, but even then I will try to protect my pre-10:00 time. I am a morning person, but not a morning chaos person and to the extent I can control that I do.
