Not had any problem with supply at the moment I’am Hampshire..

Although I did notice the pharmacy has given me two different generics in the one prescription this month, could that have been a supply issue not sure.

same here Candy, 2 different brands, same dose of course. I’m in North Yorkshire. This may point to supply issues.

Hi yes have had problems getting Ursonorm tablet brand of urso for 3 weeks now. Still not arrived at my pharmacy. No explanation as yet. I may ask hospital if this continues. Good luck.

I had ursonorm this month, and ursofalk which I don’t normally get, as my GP won’t name it on my prescription I have to have the generic, although I’ve asked multiple times.

I am a little concerned as my pharmacist tells me that it is a manufacturing problem. I realise that there are many different manufacturers so I hope they don’t all stop manufacturing it for the NHS. As there is a move by our government to stop free prescriptions for over 60’s as well, things not looking too good for the future.

hi I very much doubt there’s a plan to stop supplying urso on the Nhs. It’s first line of treatment for PBC. Also it’s been used for years for gallbladder isssues. When my chemist says there’s a manufacturing issue that can be a term used loosely to mean the chain of supply is stuck somewhere. Ie a supplier can’t get from a wholesaler. Can be hold ups for many reasons. I really wouldn’t get so worried, however our Nhs is beyond doubt under attack from this crazy government. Good luck with your supply.

I'm in Wigan, no problems at present, though last year had loads of supply issues especially for 500mg tablets, the 250mgs seemed easier to get hold of. I'm usually prescribed Ursofalk or Ursonorm dependant on what the pharmacy has.
