PBC and stool color

Hello friends, personal type question. Pretty new to PBC, wondering if anyone has stool color changes. Yellow, clayish color, to a dark dark color. I eat pretty healthy, nothing processed too much. fruit, nuts, fish, chicken breast and veggies. No stomach or liver pain, just odd color stools. I take 750 mg. Of URSO a day. Can URSO cause this?

Ty for any info 😁

In clinical trials apparently some people reported pale stools personally I had no stool problem but I did find I had acid reflux. If you are concerned a chat with the pharmacist first or your doctor may be best . are you on the right dose relative to your weight, there is a chart in the patient information leaflet to help work it out.. I do find that what I eat impacts on output, certainly drinking plenty of water through the day is beneficial. Hope this is helpful.

Any change in stool colour should always be evaluated by a doctor, even with PBC if it lasts more than a couple of days . A quick call to your Gp would sort out any worries you have.

I have been on 1500 mg of Urso since 2008. My liver enzymes have been perfect ever since. My only complaint is hair loss.
