OwAlot of pain at night with the liver and spleen.What to do

Low platelets 52 enlarge spleen and hurts and the liver hurts. Dr. I think wrote me off. Says need a new liver and nothing he can do. No pain management Dr. Will see me because of the liver. One will but insurance will not cover .Does anyone else have joint pain? Well 1 good thing happen lost alot of weight in the past 2 months. Oh and what about problems swelling. Feels like someone is choking the throat when eatting and drinking. I had Pbc for over 10 years now. I always look tan not yellow so I guess that is good. Thank you for reading god bless. Mia

I am sorry to read your post, the cost of medical care in the USA is an unknown factor to me. Have you been able to afford URSOdeoxycholic Acid over the last 10 years? Is there a chance to find another doctor?

Whilst you are unable to find medical help perhaps it may help to take a look at your diet, although you say you have lost weight is there any particular food which irritates your joint pain? Take a look at the PBC Foundation's web site you may find some useful information there.
