Nothing has been said which is typical, I would still shield with where you work, but maybe someone will ask the government the same question. Ian

Hi there, if you had a shielding letter during the first lockdown then I would have thought you would get another one but I don’t think they are asking people to shield at the moment.

Hi thanks for replying. I also got a letter for this recent lockdown aswell. Just a bit worried about work.

Think I’m in South Wales so we have different rules here.

I don’t think it’s been put out yet, i understood it would depend on what tier your region is in. That information is due out on Thursday so maybe it will come up then. I don’t need to shield but my partner does and he thinks it depends on your regional tier as well.

May be worth looking out for the news broadcast if there is one. But the government web site has lots of information and should get updated with new info so it’s also worth a look. Stay safe and well.

I have had a letter for this lock down. The advice is that I can go out for exercise but otherwise I'm advised to stay in and not go to shops and to work from home. The letter can be shown to employers if necessary.
