I have redness on the lower legs and ankles, that came up suddenly on my ankles and spread over a month or so to my lower legs and it's never left. I also have a couple of similar marks on my face that have come up recently, although it's different than my legs and I assumed it was sun damage coming to the surface.

Could be due to low platelets

Thanks, I checked my last blood test results and my platelets are within the normal range. Will have to remain a mystery for the time being as it’s I possible to get to see a GP.😢

Interestingly enough I had a virtual visit with my hepatologist today & he asked me, from head to toe do you have any rashes or skin issues. This question must be pbc related. Maybe ask your hepatologist at your next appointment. Show him your picture.

That’s interesting, thanks. I’m not due to see him until Oct, hopefully it may be gone by then. Xx

You should document these & show him when you see him in case it is relevant to your pbc condition. I’ll ask my hepatologist what he is looking for when he asks me these questions if I remember. I am seeing him in Sept in person.
