Good afternoon

At least I think it is...I feel like I been run over by a bus today. I have been vomiting bile for the last 24 hours. Had a fever and aches and pains. I know what we have is rare but come on, this rollercoaster always has a way of surprising.

Has anyone else suffered anything like this.

Thanks

Hello Alley27, I hope by now you have been to hospital or have seen a doctor. Something is not right and it needs to be checked. Lert us know what is going on with you.

Hi butterfly thanks for your reply. I have felt unwell for around 4 weeks and in the past 3 I have booked 3 phone consultation, which have not been made. On Thursday night I felt bloated I went to bed but I had a really uncomfortable night. I woke up Friday morning really uncomfortable in the belly area upper abdomen pain all across then up into my right. I was dizzy and had chills. I just threw up..it was brown to start with but I did eat some meat with a brown glaze. Then just bile pumped off . I had headache, dizziness, vomiting bile I went to the loo as well. I couldn't stand up because the room spun and I felt so weak my son had to help me to the loo. My son also told me that I was hallucinating. Yesterday felt weak and dizzy today much better but a niggling pain dull ache upper right. Now I wonder if it's to do with the bile ducts..I don't have a gall bladder. I just don't understand what happened and why...xx

You can bet first thing tomorrow morning I will be on to the gp and today I will be leaving a message with my consultant secretary.

Hi just an update hun. My ALT are more than double so its the autoimmune hep. My gp did bloods on Monday and rang me back today. I have had to leave a message with my consultant secretary because my gp doesn't know what next steps to take because I am on budesonide rather than prednisolone, and they need me to see the consultant or at least speak with him.

I have been given something for the nausea at least and I need to wait for consultant to ring me. Fed up is not the word believe me. This last year has been horrendous for me.

Xx alley

Hi butterfly, just an update. My ALT is 180, so this is my AIH. I'm so much more than fed up. Just waiting for consultant to call back whenever that will be. My gp did the bloods but told me they can only up my prednisolone, wouldn't mind but I'm on budesonide but I need to speak to my consultant about everything x

Can the GP call the consultant for guidance? We are coming up to the weekend so if you can push for help tomorrow it may be useful. Or can the specialist's secretary get a message to him or her

Sounds like you have an obstruction in the colon. You should not wait until tomorrow, you need to go to the emergency room asap.
