TIPPS !! Please help

Has anyone had TIPPS procedure and had it in for quite a few years ? I’m currently having banding and on beta blockers for portal hypertension and I can’t fly and I’ve gained so much weight it’s soul destroying! I’m not ready for a transplant just yet as I’ve had all my assessments etc and my liver is doing ok ... I can’t bear being so big and heavy. Can anyone give me advice please

I know this and before now I’ve been very scared about having it but the beta blockers aren’t nice to be on either - looking for which is a better quality of live for me .. I can’t exercise well, have back ache , dry skin and rapid weight gain and sinus problems- just want to know from someone first hand if they have had it and it was ok ... I’ve heard very mixed reports
