Hi Jaycee, I asked my doctor hepatologist, could I take a multivitamin and she said yes I would still ask your doctor though.
Hi
Yes, definitely ask your Dr? How are you doing? I think you are amazing!! Love and hugs Lynne xxxx
I take a multivitamin/no iron but my dr said okay. Check with yours to be sure😊
My hepatologist is okay with me taking: a multi vitamin, calcium supplements, fish oil, & vitamin D.
I mentioned to my hepatologist that I was taking a multi vitamin without iron by Higher Nature and a vitamin D plus K spray and he had no objections. I source these from Bodykind which is a reputable source in the UK. Since taking the vitamin D+K I have noticed a beneficial improvement in how I feel. Whatever you decide please do run it passed your specialist.
best wishes
My dr is fine with supplements. In fact, they actually recommended some to me. I take a handful of stuff everyday. I’m even taking natural hormone suppressors for a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018. However, I run everything past the specialist before taking. I have had an item or 2 (more rare ones) that she has said to not take. For the most part, there isn’t much she felt that affects it. ( I take milk thistle & R-alpha lipoic acid specifically for the liver, btw)
Take care😊
