As you are new to the diagnosis-- stay away from a lot of outdated Internet information about PBC. The pbcfoundationuk.org is a great reliable source of info on PBC. You should join if you haven't already. It's free and requires a different user ID and Pw than this site. The foundation sponsors this peer support forum here on Health Unlocked. Their website has great resources on management and current research etc.

I am 52, was diagnosed recently as well.

There is lots of information available through this website and ones mentioned above.

Just ask for URSO and watch your diet.

I dont believe doctors can give you more useful info)..try to watch your stress level as well)...its most difficult part of it.And welcome to our group. Xo

Thank you luxe66. I’m on Urso it’s helped the indigestion/bile but now when I eat I suffer with stomach pains. I’ll bring this up with the consultant and ask about dietary help
