Hiya guys my urso has been increased today from 750 to 1000 a day. Is that a lot?

It’s usually calculated in respect to your weight, so the more you weigh, the higher the dose. So there’s no such thing as a high or low dose really as it’s individual to you.

I believe the dosage is 13-15 mg/kg of body weight. 1 kg = 2.2 pounds. Maybe this will help you determine if you are at the right dosage and discuss with your doctor. I take 900 mg/day (3-300mg capsules) Best wishes🙂

Agree with the comments above although I take 7x250mg per day and weigh 80 kilos which seems quite a lot but my consultant does not want to reduce my dosage.

Check your weight, if you look on the patient information leaflet there is usually a useful guide to how much. I take 4 x 250mg = 1000 per day and I weigh 68kg. But I was on the same dose at 65kg, so there is a range. Oops looks like Christmas piled on some pounds.

Hi there

I weigh 5.8 kg and I take a 1,000milligrams per day. Hope this helps
