Perspectum Diagnostics are looking for participants in an MRI study to map the liver. This study aims to find out whether multi-parametric MRI imaging of the liver gives the same results when it is repeated on the same person after a short break, and when it is performed on the same person in different MRI scanners. The venue is Cambridge UK and currently Perspectum Diagnostics are looking for participants for 14 and 28 April. If anyone is interested in this study please contact Hayley at her email address. Perspectum Diagnostics are able to cover the cost of travel and if you live a long way they will cover one night in an hotel.
I fortunately participated in a similar study twice which was held in Oxford, one year apart where the picture of my liver was mapped and from the two different occasions it could clearly be seen that my liver had improved over that year, in that year I had changed my diet and lost weight. Unfortunately I am unable to participate on either of the dates where they are hoping to find participants.
I hope it will be of interest to someone.
best wishes

I think Perspectum Diagnostics have already trialled some of this in the States but please do not quote me I am not 100%. You may want to look at their face book page. I know many of us are able and willing to assist with studies especially as we are a rare/uncommon small number of people. There are I believe on going studies in the US of a different type.
