Drug trial for itching

Just wondered if anyone else was taking part in a drug trial for itching, I consented today at Royal Free London,

I believe it’s a new trial

Would love to hear if anyone else has

I'm in USA .. but wanted to say thank you for taking part in trial.. without folks like you new meds cannot get advanced. Hope it's effective!

I have responded to a request that was - I think - made by LiverNorth for applicants but as yet I have not heard back. For me my nearest hospital would be Basingstoke if I am accepted. Will let you know if I hear anything further. I hope it works well for you.

I agree with Eileen as I am in the USA also and THANK YOU so much. I wish they would start some research on PBC here. If not for PBC Foundation I would know next to nothing because there just isn't that much information here. May God bless you and yours today and always. Hope this trial will bring good news for all of us. 😍😇

I too am in the US and find it so frustrating that I know more about my illness than most doctor's here. So hard to find a good one, that's for sure.

Hi kikk, Yes, there is a Dr. Gershwin in Calif that has been studying PBC for about 25 years. The PBC Digest is always having fundraisers to help him as the federal government doesn't give them a lot of money for research. My sister knew a doctor at NIH and he said most of their research is targeting breast cancer. We are in the minority.
