Yes, I haven't had any side effects taking Ocaliva. I know it can cause itching in people who do not have the itch or it can make the itch worse in the ones that do. I already had the dreaded itch before taking Ocaliva and I don't feel that it has changed it any. I hope you will soon be able to start Ocaliva. Keep us posted.

Thank you. I didn't itch until I had been on Urso a few days. Been off it since Thursday night & itch is gone. I pray if my dr can get me on Ocaliva I can take it. A little itch is ok but hives is a no.

I started taking Ocaliva 5mg June 9th with the Urso & started seeing a great change in my numbers. I posted them in my profile if you'd like to check them out. I recently, this week actually, started alternating the 5mg with the 10mg for the next month then I'll be taking the 10mg daily. I go tomorrow for another check of my hepatic panel. I'll post it once I receive it. I haven't had any side effects so far & am truly thankful.

That's wonderful. I try to stay positive but I slip sometimes. I will decide how I think about all this once I have fibroscan in September, lol!🤗

i take it for nash since 17 month now in a study with 25mg a day.

i will have a big lever check in 1 month very excited to see the result.

since 1 month i have some side effects like circulation problems and cardiovascula but is not very bad.. anyone else here who wants to exchange some experience with oclavia for nash or pbc? i know for nash its not really on the market but maybe someone takes it already like me...
