Heparin

Hi all,

I have managed to brake my ankle while on holiday, not able to explain I may have pbc, they have given me heparin to stop any blot clots but I'm not sure I should use it. Does anyone know if it's ok? Bearing in mind I will be flying home in 4 days.

Thanks

Sylvia

I have had a heparin injection in the UK and they know I had PBC so think it should be okay for you to take it, better than getting a blood clot flying home

Thanks jametfolley, any drug I'm given now I'm wary of, want to do as much as possible to look after the liver.
