Irretractable itch

Starting gabapentine for irretractable itch.

Has anyone else this, any side effects etc ?

I have been taking Gabapentin for several years but for me it is for nerve pain. I haven't had any side effects since starting it. I haven't heard of it being used for the itch. I know medications meant for one thing can also be used for something else. I hope it helps you. I take hydroxyzine for itch. Please keep me posted how it works for you.

I recently stopped taking it. Made me sleep when I really didn't want to sleep. That was all it done for me, still itched like crazy. Hope it helps you 🙂.

I take Gabapentine but it's for nerve pain, but now that I think about it my itching is mostly gone.

I had it for pain but am allergic to it, my legs and ankles blew up like balloons and i could not put my feet on the floor at times, i have never heard of it being given for the itch
