Job worries

Hi everyone hope everyone is ok just asking for some advice I have been of sick during the Christmas holidays about 8 weeks I am on the transplant list but I have been of sick these 3 weeks with kidney stone going back to work next Monday just worried about job can they sack you ?

I think that maybe somebody more up on the laws governing this will come along, however

part of the relevant DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) is on the compendium on PBC Foundation. This may be relevant for you. If it's a large company with HR, they will already be aware of the employment laws for people with chronic conditions.

If a small company, maybe get some advice from CAB.

Having been sacked previously for a different health issue, I was covered by employment law and the company had to pay compensation and offer me my job back.

This is all well and good, but it's not pleasant to have to go through, especially when you have a lot to bear.
