Hi Melwoods

I hope this works for you. I have not tried it but would like to hear you get on with it. I am on Cholestyramine and Rifampicin (have tried Naltrexone) but still itch.

best wishes

Hello Melwoods.

I've not heard of this bezafibrate. Is that the generic name or brand do you know? I did find a patient info leaflet online (pharma is Cenexi) and had a look at it out of interest.

Reading the leaflet online I think one woudl have to perhaps fit a certain criteria to be given this to see if it can deal with the itching. (I itch, have since ealry 2010. Some nights worse than others but so far I've managed to keep going and not ask for any medications but in future one never knows so good to know what mgiht be 'out there' to try.)

Apparently this medication was designed to bring down fat lipids.

Interested in knowing how you get on with it. Please post at a later date your experience.
