Had my appt with the consultant yesterday. She told me that blood work indicates your liver is filtering as it should, but does not show the state of your liver. I told her about how ill I was feeling. I have to go for an endoscopy and a scan. Last scan 2 years ago showed I had raised glands on main duct from liver to pancreas. She wants to check that they have not grown in size. The scan also showed I have a stone in my right kidney. Hopefully I will find out why I feel so sick and miserable. Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year. Xx

Hi June9961

Rotten to feel so poorly especially at this time of year. Hopefully you have some good folk around you to help.

I think sometimes kidney stones can be passed from the body through the urinary tract. Perhaps when it is gone you will feel better.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope you soon feel better.

I'm sorry you're feeling so ill. It's a strange thing that symptoms of autoimmune disease don't always correlate with blood work results. My liver enzymes are almost normal now but I am sleeping my life away. The tingling and burning in my legs and arms is getting worse.

I wonder how many of us actually have other autoimmune problems.

I have lupus, RA, Srogrens, Hashimoto's thyroiditis along with PBC. My daughter has lupus, Srogrens, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, RA and Addison's. her son, my grandson, has lupus and RA.

Perhaps it's the systemic inflammation that is at the root.
