Hi All - thought some of you might find this interesting or even amusing! A few certainly struck a chord with me.

PS If anyone ever does find out what a "sick person" looks like - let me know! :-))

I have pbc. I hate it when people say what to much drink that does get on my nerves and when I try to explain there just looking at me like I'm trying to convince myself.

Exactly. People need educating on PBC. I am a non drinker but the number of times I am asked if it is because I drink and when you try to explain they just switch off and are not interested. They have already made up their minds that it is drink related.

Now that the name has changed from Cirhosis to Cholangitis the problem of 'how much you drink' should disappear. It was one of my pet hates also. 😡

I wished I think people just think anything to do with the liver is drink related.

That is totally brilliant! If I can work out how to do it, I may well splash that article all over Facebook. Just goes to show that, although we are concentrating on PBC, the same problems attach themselves to all sorts of chronic illnesses experienced all over the world.

I hate it when people tell me it's the menopause that causes bone/muscle pain and fatigue. I would never have been diagnosed if I'd have believed what they said.
