Has anyone got a thickening of the small bowel I have pbc and after a ct scan I was told I have thickening of small bowel

Hi Sophie666, Can I ask if you have any symptoms of this "thickening" of the small bowel, I am having problems with my bowel, I got a colonoscopy,my large bowel is fine but they were unable to reach my small bowel so have to have a CT scan also, I havn't got my date yet but will let you know the outcome, Hope you keep well Regards

Hi jaycee thanks for your reply I have had pain in my rectum like a really sharp stabbing feeling and I have to het in a warm bath to relive it also I have what feels like strong period pains I hope you feel well soon xxx

Hi Sophie666, Funny you should say that, I too have had those pains in the past, I find if I lie down it passes in about 30 mins, I had a hysterectomy many years ago and still get what feels period pains,so I must have the same as you, but we'll see, Thankyou for your reply, Keep well X
