Lightheadedness

Been on Urso now for a month, last few days been getting lightheaded , dizzy and really hot has any one else experienced this?

Hiya, I was on urso for a week and had these symptoms, also much nausea and actual vomitting.my dr took me off them 4 days ago and the lightheadedness has gone, still get the hots !! But the nausea has not really gone away.i have to start them again soon one at a time slowly and then build up to full dose.

I am not looking forward to this but have had a lot of tips from the girls here.

Its the only thing we can take..so have to persevere.

Did you get these symptoms at the start ?

Hi.I'm not taking urso .but feel dizzy and get very burning hot an sweat bad,supposed to take 500 every day but I have bad side effects so there on hold for the moment,also feel sick a lot ,and my mouth feels sticky.do u feel the same,I was diagnosed in May this year,going to discuss this with my liver specialist next month.awfull isn't it,would be helpful to know if anybody else gets this.

Hi I am on 500mg of Urso a day get really bad hot sweats one of the reasons i was tested. Lots of bone, joint and back pain, also nausea. I really don't like this disease, going back to GP 2 moro for help.

Hi,thanks for answering,good to know I'm not the only one,I'm also going to my gp tomorrow,had enough the burning sweats also keep me awake half the night,an the dizziness an sickness drives me crazy my joints ache to,i also suffer from mild itching.roll on a cure...would be nice .good luck at the doc.

Hope all goes well for you at Doc's tomorrow, I am going to ask if I can come off Urso for a while, to see if these horrible symptoms go. I am also having problems digesting food salad being the worst. Take care God Bless you all

Hi all, the symptoms you all describe are common for pbc'ers on urso, once on urso for a while most symptoms settle down.

I was diagnosed October last year, and have found this site invaluable as only other people with PBC know how we feel and what we are going through.

Agreed Lynne pretty much all your symptoms are pbc related.I get artificial saliva & eye drops from docs and take milk thistle which helps with the nausea and sickness.My prob is I don't know wether it's the pbc or all the medication that causes the sickness,sometimes it's like riding the storm which is never gonna go away,good days bad days,however positive mental attitude is still the best medicine,seriously...don't give up :))))

Thanks for all your input , I'm not due to see my gastro doctor for 6 months , but I'm going to see if I can get an earlier appointment. It's so nice to be able to talk to people who are going through the same thing xx

I actually got sick today when driving. I pulled off at a little store and got water(cold) and a pretzel and ate and drank. When I felt better I continued home. Sometimes I think I just get dehydrated. I can not say its the meds.(Urdsoal). Take to all

Omg this is spooky I've just had a really bad bout of dizziness and feeling faint with pins n needles tonight, I was thinking cause sooooooo very tired and fatigued as had such a heavy week at work- I do think it's my body's way of telling me to rest! Hope you ok and things settle x

I've also found that the tiredness is worse when I'm stressed,this week has been really busy at work with lots of problems and it's the first week I've suffered with the Lightheadedness so I'm thinking it's all related .x

I know this an old post but wondering whether you still get pins and needles. Ive been on URSO for 2 months and have started getting pins and needles in legs and weak muscles im getting worried now
