Hi, I haven`t had any dizziness so am not much help. Hope the tests enable them to treat it for you.
Yes, i have dizzy spells. I can go a couple of months without any then they hit suddenly and can last a few weeks.
I quite often have dizziness, I went to the dr about it but was fobbed off, he didn't know what was causing it, didn't send me for any tests though, I will mention it at my next hospital appointment, which should be in a few weeks, I can even have a dizzy spell when I'm in bed, I turn over and everything seems to flip. It's most unsettling
Yes I get occasional dizziness and also stumble when I am fatigued
I have had something like you at night in bed, I turned over and my brain seemed to follow a few seconds after making things disorientated, this only happened to me on one night but did happen quite a few times during that night as it was a night I could not sleep and I was tossing and turning.
I have experienced dizzy spells,Ive seen doctor about it and had bloods done, but all was fine.
I also have experienced dizzy spells, even when I am in bed! They come and go and it is not something that I have mentioned to my consultant.Just assume its another PBC related symptom!!.Best wishes.
yes, i also get it, all too often. -- the dr checks my ears for wax, tests my blood for anemia (which i usually suffer from) -- but i think it is all connected to the several AI things i have -- why not? everything else is so i might as well blame the dizziness on it too --
Hi - I too have dizzy spells, but not all the time. Like some of the other people who replied they are often at night when I am falling asleep and very disorientating. I havent mentioned them to my doctor as I had put it down to being soo exhausted by the time I go to bed and was experiencing a mixture of falling asleep and passing out from exhaustion.
Hi elevated liver enzymes and problems can be linked to Coeliac Disease. Have any of you asked for a coeliac blood test? It's an auto-immune disease and is also linked to thyroid problems and Diabetes type 1. Ataxia - co-ordination and dizziness is also one of the coeliac disease.

hi, i often have dizziness that can get real bad at times,. if it gets very bad my gp checks my iron studies and usually im very anneamic. then i go in for a iron infusion(takes 6 hours) via IV , and for a week i feel like a wreck. but after that i tend to slowly improve and dizzy spells are less. something to check with your gp
I was having dizzy spells for the last several years, even before dx in '07. Then was dx with AIH/PBC and put on "drugs". Dizziness continued and they tho't maybe my heart. Did tests - nothing, of course. Last year it got so bad that I was nearly passing out if I didn't have something to grab hold of. Ended up with newer heart test and dx with Tachycardia (sp). Things were better for a while then started again. Retested, did some more Carterizing around my heart (ablations) and dx me with AVNRT - Atrial Ventricular Nodal Re-entry Tachycardia - Whewww!! Ok again for a couple of months then had major "attack", went to Urgent Care and sent to ER. Ok by arrival at ER after being on oxygen. Following week went back to Dr. from Urgent Care and asked him why he had asked me if I had COPD. To shorten this, he tested, it showed positive and I am now dx with COPD/Emphysema. I don't have the dizzines that I used to have (as long as I do my treatments twice a day. lol) but I still have the weakness, that I am now puting up to PBC after reading a lot of your posts. Not saying that we all have COPD but the Dr. said that what it is - is we can breathe in ok but we aren't exhaling fully and some how or other it affects the oxygen to the brain. We all need to add some more letters to our "Alphabet soup", right?
Don't know if this helps anyone but - just in case - - - -

Yes I have had dizzy spells last summer but I put them down to the heat or a problem with my neck /spine and arthritis in both. I now have dizzy spells in bed like you when I turn around in bed I feel like the room is spinning. I must mention this to my doctor again. Do you have Lupus like me?
@Tumbleweed : I appreciate your posts, I too complain of dizziness and Dr. Ignores. I feel I have 2 kinds that bother me. One is positional as when you turn your head. The other is possibly too much co2. thanks for your post.
I think I have a better handle on it now. I just need a good way to expel the co2.
Last night I either woke up or was dreaming and I was expelling the co2 with a PLB that was vibrational. Maybe that is a clue. Hope someone knows. Is there equipment that will help blow out the co2?
I'm just now starting to deal with major dizziness. I've been wondering if it's related to the PBC
