I think when your husband goes for his transplant assessment one of the questions they ask is what type of donor he would accept? So I'm guessing its the transplant unit you need to talk to - but I suspect they will want to assess his suitability first.

I am looking in to the same thing, the hospital I attend said they can do it, I am O type blood, as long as your husband is the same (doesn't matter if it's positive or negative) then he could be a potential living donor. X
