Hi ,

Yes read on PAS forum that in America there appears to be problems with cyanocobalamin B12, it used to be available in multy vials, now only single application ampoules seem to be produced. Perhaps its changing to single application ampoules that is causing the problems...but I do not know, perhaps read this topic on the PAS forum, see:

pernicious-anaemia-society....

I hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Marre.

The PAS link refers to a possible shortage of cyanocobalamin in the USA, but here in the UK, if that is where your are, vadams, the injected B12 is hydroxocobalamin and I can't find any indication of the NHS experiencing a shortage.

Hi,

Can not say I've heard of a hydroxocoibalamin B12 shortage in UK..daughters and I have no problems getting ampoules...who told you there is a shortage in UK? We get Cobalin-H..

Yes there currently is a shortage of B12 shots in the US. You can purchase them online though: goo.gl/TnQ8UA
