Palpitations

Hi,
I hope you're okay.
Has your doctor checked your potassium levels?
Some people can get a drop in potassium levels when they start B12 injections.
I don't know if this applies to you but I wondered if people who are stressed about having injections might get palpitations.
Might be worth contacting your doctor if the problems continue.
I'm not a health professional.
Hi. This happened to me. Nothing major and only lasted for a short time the day or the day after an injection. Was quite pronounced and a bit worrying at the time though.I'm quite a small build and cut down the injection dose to around 2/3rds which also seems to help. Have also had this following taking folic acid too, which I now try to avoid.
I tend to get mild palpitations when I need a fresh jab. And doing the jab tends to up the adrenaline. It's harder to get the needle in now my skin isn't paper thin! All I can say is take co-factors. All the Bs, Omega 3 fish oil and zinc for nerves. Vitamin D. Magnesium (lotion in my case).
Be careful about sterilising your skin and not having air bubbles in the syringe. And breathe. And move a bit afterwards to get it distributed.
