Interesting article about high Homoc... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Interesting article about high Homocysteine values which untreated or undertreated B12D/ P.A. patients very likely to have .

Thank you .Very interesting
Interesting, thank you Wedgwood 😊
Brilliant resource, thank you. My OH expects he will get dementia later in life as 3 out of 4 grandparents of his got it before their death. His mother had to have B12 injections (only in small quantities) so I do wonder if there could be a family history of high homocysteine. This organisation's test kit for dementia risk seems very useful and he's going to start taking vit D and omega 3 now as a preventative. Thanks again I think this will really reassure him
Isn’t he going to take B12 as well ? Tablets would do the trick if he hasn’t got P.A. As we know , there is no danger from overdosing .
He's got a good level of B12 at the minute so I suggested he avoid supplements and get tested every few years in the hopes we catch anything early! I've sowed the seeds of starting injections when he's considerably older as we know age can create problems absorbing (he's in his early 30s now) since I have to do the injections, we always have them available to do. That way he'd know he's getting the benefit and hopefully some peace of mind.
