Cyanocobalamin is no longer manufactured in the UK. The manufacturer stopped making it last year. The only injectable form now licensed in the UK is hydroxocobalamin.
Hi Clugster
Sorry to read of your predicament.
You can purchase cyanocobalamin from Germany - Apohealth supply it as I accidentally ordered some a while ago but I don’t have it any longer.
Would you mind expanding on your allergy symptoms and how long ago you tried Hydroxocobalamin?

Swollen organs under ribs, mouth swells and ulcers appear and blood pressure increases by 20
Hi Clugster
That sounds so unpleasant and I can relate to it as I have a similar reaction to Penicillin - I swell up like a Michelin Man!
You can definitely source them from Germany and I have a vague recollection that a GP may prescribe a drug not on the NHS list or whatever it is called, at their discretion if there is good cause ... can anyone correct me or add to this vague recollection of mine??

Hi Clugster
I am also allergic to hydroxycobalamin and have to self inject cyanocobalamin. I am having to buy it from Versandapo in Germany due to no supply from NHS/UK.
good luck
now I’ve got the ampules the nurses won’t give at the surgery.
