Hi,

I'm sure someone will be along to help soon with suggestions.

Apologies for quick reply but busy today.

Have you considered writing a letter to your GP (I'm assuming you're in UK)?

Link below has letter templates.

I've left info to help those struggling to get adequate treatment in UK in these threads.

Is this the tip of the iceberg?

Also left a detailed reply in this thread.

I am horribly under pressure at the moment .You can get B12 ampoules from certain excellent German online pharmacies . There are just a few that deliver to U.K.

apohealth.de Is available in English . ( bottom left - Union Jack . ) If you look for Panpharma B12 Depot ( Hydroxocobalamin) Use its pharmaceutical reference number — 16199653 , and you will go straight to that item — Packets of 10 — retail price is €10.16 . You will get a discount . These ampoules are the favourites . There are other makes .

When filling in the address form , you must first put in your country , selecting from the drop down list . Then your postal code and address will be accepted . Otherwise you cannot continue !!!

Needles , syringes etc can be obtained in U.K. . From Amazon or medical suppliers . I have to dash off .

Apohealth was really easy to order from. I ordered 2 packets of 10 ampoules. I then got email to say they were only dispatching one box. No explanation why.

I also ordered from Apohealth. They were very easy to order from and delivery to UK was good. I ordered needles etc. from Medisave. 1" 25g needles to load the syringe and 1/2" 30g needles to inject. 2mg syringes, alcohol wipes and sharps bin. I started subcutaneous injections 2 weeks ago. You may need different needles if you plan to inject into the muscle. I was very nervous injecting at first but okay now. Happy Christmas!

Thankyou so much for all that, especially the needle info - no, I'm not looking forward to the DIY bit but did some following a knee replacement op into the stomach so not completely new to self injection. Thanks again, am printing all this info out and having to start a file!Ruth

You are very welcome. These were my Medisave order details. You get a lot of needles in a pack but they are not expensive. It helps having a 2ml syringe with 1ml of B12. (I bought Panpharma Vitamin B12 Depot 1000 µg/ml ampoules).

30G 1/2" (13mm) Needle (Yellow) - Unisharp x 100,

BD Microlance 3 Needles Orange 25g x 1" x 100,

Medisave Professional 70% Alcohol IPA Pre-Injection Swabs x 100,

BD Discardit 2ml Concentric Tip Syringe, 2 piece x 100,

Sharpsguard Yellow 1 Ltr Sharps Bin - Single × 1

I just go on the German Amazon site and buy the ampoules there. It’s as easy as using uk Amazon.
