I'm Going To Give SI A Stab 😆

I currently get NHS B12 jabs every 2 months, but I have a lot of Neuro symptoms. I have pins and needles in my hands and feet constantly for years, balance issues, vestibular migraines which havent responded to several treatments, amongst others.

Also noticed some shaky, jelly legs which concerns me. I know my B12 blood levels are very high, over 2000. But I'm wondering if it isnt reaching the cells. I supplement with sublingual spray between jabs.

I do have Ehlers Danlos and underactive thyroid so its very hard to seperate symptoms from each other. I have asked about the parathesia before but just get shrugs from doctors.

I'm due to see a private Neuro next month about my balance issues but I would like to try B12 SI before hand to see if it makes any difference to my neuro symptoms before I see him.

Can anyone please provide me with details of reliable sources of B12 ampoules, needles etc. I have found a UK site which can provide the injections so its the B12 ampoules I need. Or is it better just to get them from the same place? Thank you.

I was hypothyroid & before commenced hypo support meds. my serum b12 was elevated, although my diet wasn’t B12 rich & had never taken supplements. As soon as I started thyroid meds, my b12 bloods normalised. Yes, your right in that prior thyroid meds the b12 wasn’t being ultilized at cellular level.

There is a lot of us who need injections more than once per 2 months. Best wishes in taking things into your own hands! I hope you find a schedule that gets rid of all your symptoms. With your tingles, it would be wise to try at least every other day for starters. Some of it probably is reaching your cells. The problem is that we excrete a lot of it fairly quickly. That would leave you with periods in between shots when you are not getting enough B12.

I would suggest that if you just want to try things to see if extra injections helps and do it quickly …

Find a local beauty clinic that does B12 injections and try it that way without having to go down the route of doing your own SI. It will be a good way and less stressful to test your theory out. If it works for you then you can invest. Either way good luck.
