I have just tested taking some b12 as sublingual 2mg, and I noticed a feeling of comfortable tiredness and relaxation, like my body took a little sigh of relief and relaxed a bit.
I am really interested to hear what other people feel in response to taking B12 by any method, especially right away - do you notice any effects?
Thanks!

Interesting, I wonder if I'll get that - the initial lack of energy symptoms, followed by improving symptoms from the next day onwards. Like each introduction of B12 has a response of an immediate mini 'shutdown' as the body deals with it.
Yes I do get that feeling after IM injection can last from a few hours upto 2 or three days I also seem to sleep better for a couple of nights after as well. Nothing like that with the B12 spray although it helps a little with some symptoms
I felt clear headed and more energetic just once with sublingual methyl cobalamin. I don’t take them now as they really have no effect.
My first ever injection was cyanocobalamin. I experienced an immediate uplift in mood and focus for just a few hours. After that I oddly had no response at all and switched to hydroxocobalamin. As Nackapan says these days I don’t usually feel much until a day or two after when I realise I am back on even keel and can once again think straight and cope with life.
Yes I get that from injections and also from patches. The few days after an injection I feel very tired though, so think from the patches maybe it's just a smaller effect. I don't seem to get on very well with sublinguals though and they generally give me anxiety, whichever type I take!
Thank you, very interesting to hear. I'd love to know the mechanism for the sublinguals giving anxiety but the injections not - there's so much we don't know yet.
Yes me too, it's really strange! Have tried hydroxy sublinguals, same as the jabs I get, also tried methyl & ones which are a mix including adeno as well. Must be something that's included in them rather than the actual B12 I think. I get the same side effect from multivitamins as well.
